Full kerf or thin of the cutting blades? How powerful is your saw?The width of the "kerf" – the slot the blade cuts in the material – is another important consideration. Many cutting & grinding discs types are available in both full-kerf and thin-kerf varieties. Full-kerf blades typically cut a 1/8" slot and are intended for use on saws powered by 3 hp (or greater) motors.
